Liberals have stolen clothes from Tories
I write in response to the letter that said Sheffield will soon become a Tory free zone and not have a single Tory MP or councillor. The problem in Sheffield is that the Liberals have stolen the Tories' clothes.
The Liberals wanted a cut in council services (like the Tories), opposed the minimum wage (like the Tories), want to scrap the Working Family Tax Credit and Winter Fuel Allowance (like the Tories) and oppose the New Deal in places like Burngreave. Now they want less money spent on poorer areas in Sheffield and would rather give it to the leafy places they represent.
