Rushdie honour brings resentment

Referring to the Knighthood for Salman Rushdie. I would like to ask why one person is more important than the two million Muslims who live in this country, who work hard and pay tax. This tax is being used for the bodyguards who are protecting Salman Rushdie, believed to have cost £10m.

They argue that it’s freedom of speech but this is not an argument. You cannot attack someone’s character and say it is freedom of speech.

This knighthood has caused a lot of hurt between Muslims and UK.
