Should charity begin at home?
WE HAVE recently been informed of the wonderful response of £500,000 for the flood victims in the Midlands area. How difficult would it be to be given a breakdown of funds raised for our local victims, including donations from overseas?
My wife and I, both pensioners, have sent donations for several overseas disasters, as well as donations towards our local flood fund.
The lack of information leads us towards thinking charity begins at home.
