PDSA appeals for volunteers
VETERINARY charity the PDSA is appealing for local animal lovers with free time on their hands to lend a 'paw' and volunteer at their Barnsley shop every Tuesday and Friday.
The Barnsley PDSA shop at 40 Market Street raises funds to provide free veterinary treatment in the local area, where Sheffield PDSA PetAid hospital cares for the sick and injured pets of people in need.
Barnsley shop manager Claire Lofthouse said: “We desperately need extra hands to help out on Tuesday and Friday to work the till and sort through donations.”
