Domestic short hair Hector, aged five, had a hard life fending for himself living as a street cat. Then, crossing a road to try to find food, he was hit by a car. He was found injured by a woman who picked him up and brought him to Thornberry. He was sent straight to the vets and x-rayed. He had a fractured pelvis and was going to have to stay confined to a crate for six weeks while his bones mended. He is now looking for a home. He likes being fussed and to meet the other cats in their pens, so may like a gentle feline companion in his new home. He would prefer it to be adults only or any children being over 10, and a safe garden to enjoy exploring. Photo: Thornberry Animal Sanctuary
