Incident on Chesterfield Road, new wine bar and shop opening in Crookes and Sheffield's Eurovision bid is in - welcome to the latest Behind the Headlines podcast

In this week’s episode of Behind the Headlines, we discussed a large emergency incident which took place on Monday on Chesterfield Road, Sheffield. Emergency response vehicles were present and the road closed as concern grew for the safety of a man who was on a roof for over 12 hours.

We also discussed the opening of a new wine bar and shop in Crookes and also the opening of more businesses around the city as businesses begin to bounce back from the devastation caused by the pandemic.

The final topic was the Eurovision song contest, Sheffield’s chances of hosting the international competition and what it would mean to Sheffield to have such a huge contest hosted here.
