Found: Police launched search for missing Rotherham woman as concern rose

Police have found a woman who was reported missing from her home in Rotherham, after a search.

The woman, named only as Jean, aged 83, was last seen at her home address in the Kimberworth Park area at around midday yesterday (Friday 17 November).

Police had issued a picture of her to try to help find her.

They said in a statement this afternoon: "Jean has been found safe and well.

"We are grateful to everyone who sent in information, and special thanks to those who informed us who Jean’s friend was (the man pictured in the CCTV), it was this information which enabled us to find her. So thank you."
