New Sheffield city centre offices open - with rooftop bar on the way

A four-storey office block on Carver Street in Sheffield – complete with a rooftop bar opening next month – is already proving popular.

In the opening week at the start of April, Cubo had over 50 enquiries for hot desk memberships in the open plan co-working area and private office space. The ground floor co-working area consists of a reception and barista station where members can enjoy freshly made coffee and drinks on their way into work.

A striking staircase features in the centre, along with large work desks, ample amounts of power sockets, a large kitchen with a coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge, meeting rooms, lounge areas and tables for dining.

The office space has an eye-catching glass frontage from Carver Street and an impressive, vaulted ceiling which shows the real scale of the place from the first floor. In partnership with the Heart of the City scheme the gardens will transform the outlook on to Sheffield and create a welcoming environment for its members.

The Sheffield building is in addition to the Derby and Nottingham sites already in their growing portfolio.

Joe Wicks CEO of NuBreed Hotels, recently signed for a private office at Cubo Sheffield. He said: “We chose an office with Cubo as it ticks our three boxes: flexibility, location, and staff engagement. We reward staff where possible and having a great space to work from is important for us.

“The rooftop bar is a great addition to the overall opportunity. We will host weekly all-hands meetings there for better staff engagement.

“We are opening our customer success and customer support hub in Sheffield and Cubo gives us the flexibility to scale our team and office footprint quickly.”
