A spokesperson for Take The Knee said: “This Wednesday will be the 100th day since George Floyd was murdered, and the wave of anti-racist global reaction exploded on to our streets in solidarity with all people of colour.

"The cameras have since turned away, so we formed Take The Knee and have been protesting safely and respecting distancing every Wednesday.

"Today we would love more people to support our cause and help others to understand that the time is now, and we demand systemic change.
