Hide AdRescuers said she was immobilised inside a vacuum mattress and prepared to be stretchered to the air ambulance.
It was the second call-out that day for the team, who that morning came to the aid of a 67-year-old woman at Holly Hall near Stocksbridge who had fallen and injured her leg.
Rescuers applied a splint to the injury before preparing her to be stretchered back to the ambulance which was waiting on the road.
The rescue team has wished both women a ‘speedy recovery’ from their respective injuries.
