Police on the lookout for stolen motorbike

POLICE today launched an appeal for help to find a stolen motorbike - which has been spotted roaring around Rotherham.

The red Aprilia was taken from Rosehill Road, Rawmarsh, at 3.45am on Saturday August 4.

The offenders broke the bike’s steering lock and snapped a chain fastening the machine to a wall.

The vehicle has a number of distinctive features including clear or white tape on the left-hand indicator and a missing lens on the right indicator. There have been a number of sightings of the bike in the Rawmarsh area since it was stolen.
