Praise for festival kids
THEATRICAL kids who took part in this year's Sheffield Children's Festival have been given rave reviews.
More than 20,000 students from 130 schools took part in the five-week festival, showcasing their talent and taking part in cultural activities.
Coun Tim Rippon, council cabinet member for culture, praised this year’s Bollywood theme and said: “It provided a timely and positive opportunity for young people to engage with an aspect of Sheffield’s multi-cultural society.”
