Pregnancy changes women's diets

A SURVEY by TOTAL Greek Yoghurt into health awareness during pregnancy has found that 71 percent of women change their diets when they discover they are pregnant, with many eating more calcium-rich and foliate-rich foods.

A third of those questioned claimed to eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables each day, with 25 percent aiming to eat more iron., 21 percent said they have not adjusted their diet at all and despite all the hype, only four percent of women are trying to eat more omega 3.
