Property shop set to close this month

A SHOP offering council homes for rent in Barnsley is to close.

Berneslai Homes’ Property Shop on Eldon Street in the town centre will shut at the end of August. The homes it showcased will now be advertised in the press and online.

It opened in August 2003 to advertise properties under the Home Choice Scheme. The scheme was set up to advertise a selection of council homes for quick letting on a first come first served basis.
