Racing preview for Tuesday, June 7

Sightline is bred to be better than her rivals in the EBF Stallions Breeding Winners Margadale Fillies' Handicap at Salisbury and she can continue her progression.

Ralph Beckett’s youngster is a daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar out of his Oaks winner Look Here so she should be able to take advantage of her opening handicap mark of 77.

Fourth in a Doncaster maiden on her debut last year, that looked a strong race on paper

The winner, Zest, was talked of very highly over the winter but has admittedly disappointed since then.

Nevertheless, Sightline stepped up on her debut when sent to Beverley in April and the fourth has come out and won nicely at Haydock.

Beckett has kept her at the same 10-furlong trip but the win should have sharpened her up mentally more than anything.

Roger Charlton’s Horrah ran a nice enough race on his first outing to be of interest in the second division of the Bathwick Tyres Maiden.

Already gelded and sent off at 33-1, the omens were not good at Doncaster in April.

However, he defied those worries finishing fourth to the useful Forge, who has subsequently finished third in a Listed race behind Zonderland.

Charlton’s are very rarely fully tuned-up first time out so we can expect a good deal of improvement.

Richard Hannon’s Limelite finished third in what will surely turn out to be a hot maiden at Goodwood on her debut.

It appears she faces a much easier task in Lingfield’s MPRO5 Mobilise Everything Fillies’ Novice Stakes.

The winner at Goodwood, Romantic View, has Group One aspirations and Limelight was not disgraced, beaten less than four lengths. She should step forward from that.

Sir Michael Stoute’s Alyday was beaten at odds-on on her return at Wolverhampton but she can open her account in the MPR05 Maiden Stakes.

The Tom George-trained Dexcite was an easy winner last time out and will take all the beating in the New Steel Solutions Ltd “National Hunt” Novices’ Hurdle at Southwell.
