Her auntie Yasmin Leach stumped up 700 for the songs to be recorded at a studio in Rotherham.

Now the CD is on sale at Sounds record shop on King Street in Hoyland.

Yasmin, aged 47, said: “I thought it was a wonderful idea, Saffron shows great promise as a singer and her heart’s clearly in the right place.

“I contacted the charity with the idea for an album and they sent a document certifying that the album is authorised as a fund raising project for the charity.

“It’s got some songs aimed at kids Saffron’s age as well as classics that will appeal to adults such as ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’, I hope everyone goes out and buys it.”
