School earns good marks

CHILDREN love to learn at a Sheffield primary, which is a good school with many outstanding features, according to inspectors.

Dore Primary was found to have excellent relationships between pupils and staff, while the school’s curriculum was found to be exemplary.

Pupils enjoyed an exceptional range of sporting opportunities, and revelled in school traditions such as the annual ‘egglympics’.

Behaviour was particularly good, educational standards were high and teachers were determined every child made maximum progress, while the school’s leadership and management were also rated as good.
