Sheffield bank staff to sell cakes for charity

Lloyds Bank workers in Sheffield will join forces with 3,000 colleagues across the country to bake cakes and buns to raise money for the BBC's Children in Need charity.

Staff at the High Street branch in Sheffield city centre will be selling their creations to customers on Thursday, April 21.

They will also be allowed to wear ‘non uniform’ in return for a donation.

Julie Davey, Assistant Bank Manager, said: “Colleagues have always been huge supporters of the bank’s Charity of the Year.”
