WINTER can be a hazardous time for anyone who is getting older.
The cold can be a killer if you're over 65. According to the Office of National Statistics, more than 30,000 pensioners die from the cold during winter in England and Wales, as it can cause heart attacks, strokes and respiratory conditions such as bronchitis and pneumonia.
