Stones gig has Jagged edge

ROLLING Stones fan Steven Swann got some satisfaction when he saw his heroes in action.

And the South Yorkshire fan was watching Sir Mick Jagger even more closely than most as the singer strutted his stuff at the O2 stadium in Greenwich, the former Millennium Dome.

For business adviser Steven, from Barnsley, fronts a tribute band called Jagged.

He was selected to receive the much-sought-after tickets because of Pennine Telecom and a scheme run by O2 called RAOK – Random Acts of Kindness.

Steven, aged 51, who had never seen his heroes before, said: “I live and breathe the Stones and love fronting the tribute band. I have a wig and make-up, so when I am up there on stage I am Sir Mick.”
