Thief sneaked in for purse
SNEAK in burglars struck in Mexborough yesterday - stealing a purse containing cash.
The theft at a house on Windhill Crescent was reported to Doncaster police at 5.40pm after the purse was taken from the living room of the property while the occupant was in the back garden.
It is thought the thief got in through an unlocked window.
