Trio leave man injured in terrifying Hackenthorpe street robbery

The 29-year-old victim, from Sheffield, was attacked by three men who stole his mobile phone, mini-computer tablet and wallet in Spa View Avenue, at the junction of Spa View Road, in Hackenthorpe.

The man suffered minor injuries during the incident, which happened at 10.10pm last night.

Police describe the alleged offenders as being around 5ft 7ins tall and wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.

Temporary detective inspector John Wheaton said: “There are a number of houses in the area and I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anything suspicious around the time of the incident to call police.

“If you can help, or have any information, please call 101 quoting incident number 1137 of 10 December.”
