TV play time for teacher

Steve Eddison won the chance to develop his monologue, Locked Stockroom and Two Smoking Gerbils, with award winning script writer Tony Marchant.

He then saw it performed by leading actor Bill Paterson for a new series Staffroom Monologues on Teachers TV.

“Writing is a skill that I wanted to develop and winning this Teachers TV competition has given me the opportunity to do this,” Steve said.

“I was surprised at how my script was brought to life in such a wonderful way and I really enjoyed the experience.”
