Waiting lists get shorter

DONCASTER'S waiting lists for outpatient appointments have got shorter, according to NHS figures.

A total of 565 patients were listed by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as waiting more than six weeks for an outpatient appointment after being referred by their GP, according to June’s figures.

The figures were down from 720 in May. The trust covers Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Bassetlaw Hospital. The statistics also state there was no-one waiting more than 11 weeks.
