Young Sheffield entrepreneur attends service with The Queen
Adam Bradford, aged 23, who has Asperger syndrome, a form of autism, attended a Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey on Monday.
Her Majesty The Queen was present at the service, accompanied by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.

Hide AdAdam attended in his role as a Queen’s Young Leader. He is one of 60 young people from across the Commonwealth who will receive this special award from Her Majesty The Queen in June in recognition of his work helping others in the UK.
Adam said: “The service was a very special celebration of Commonwealth values, it was an honour to be there.
“The day struck a particular chord with me as The Queen’s own message focused heavily on inclusivity.
“My mantra is all about helping people from all walks of life, particularly the less fortunate, to achieve their aspirations.

Hide Ad“I aim to show others that, despite obstacles in your way, you can achieve whatever you wish to.”
Adam launched a business aged 13 and entered it in the Sheffield Big Challenge competition.
Since then, he has gone on to mentor other young people around the globe and is an ambassador for Dragons Den star Peter Jones’ Enterprise Academies
This week he travelled to Colombia to attend a global conference on entrepreneurship alongside 52 other countries’ representatives.

Hide AdAdam said: “In my role I think it is important to break the stereotypes which come with having a diagnosis of something like autism.
“I hope my story really does prove that you can achieve exceptional things no matter what your background.”
