Boom time for Dons ladies day

Over 300 tickets have been sold for the club’s second Ladies Day promotion of the season being held in the Lakeside Suite starting at noon.

Commercial director Tony Hannan said: “Sunday’s Ladies Day promises to be bigger and better than the one held before which was a massive success and helped raise over 825 for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice Appeal.

This week funds raised will be donated to the Firefly Cancer Awareess Appeal.

“One of the highlights of the day, which starts at 12 noon and finishes at 6.30pm, will be the ‘get your kit off’ auction involving our star players. We have also a wonderful selection of prizes sponsored by many of our commercial partners.”

There will be a fashion show from Debenhams and Firefly as well as a performance on the pitch by Stacey Barnes who was in Simon Cowell’s top eight in the last series of X Factor.”
