Hide AdTaylor, who is quickly endearing himself to the club’s support, deliberately took a step back so the players could enjoy their celebrations.
“I wanted the players to have their moment at the end, it is about the players,” he said.
“The fans will learn about myself that the players will get to celebrate the most because they are the ones who put the graft in on the pitch, they have put their bodies on the line and they have been through the mill in the last few weeks.
“That was their moment, my moment will be very brief and behind the scenes.

Taylor took over from Paul Warne in October when the latter left to manage Derby.
Warne had cultivated a good ethos in the squad and Taylor is not afraid to recognise it.
“The spirit is never in question with this set of players, that is testament to the previous manager and regime,” he said.
“The spirit is never in question. That is a hard thing to keep on producing when you are not getting what you feel you deserve or the performances warranted.”
