Hide AdTo kick things off, this past Monday night would have seen the annual The Star Football Awards take place. Obviously that couldn’t happen, so our team of football writers got together, virtually, to pick our Players of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Team of the Year.
James Shield then went into a bit more detail to back up why he chose his top United performer for the season.
And James also pointed out the fact that there was a ligitimate debate to be had for around eight or nine players picking up the prize – a fact that will obviously please the boss.

Hide AdIt was a year ago this week that United’s historic return to the Premier League was secured. A win over Ipswich on the Saturday was followed up by Leeds dropping points in controversial circumstances against Aston Villa a day later to prompt incredible scenes among the players at Bramall Lane. James, spoke to photographer Simon Bellis, to go into detail about that day and the pictrures that came out of it.
And here are the best of the rest of the pictures…

Baldock also insisted Sheffield United's players will be as fit as any others in the Premier League - if and when the season does return after the Covid-19 suspension.

Hide AdIt’s often spoken about how United could fill a Premier League team of players who have come through the ranks at Shirecliffe. There appears to be a stunting of that conveyor belt of talent as the Blades pushed for the top flight. James took a look at some who have left recently who could have done a job, one who got left behind a little and others who are still hoping for a breakthrough.
We also had this incredible revelation. The scale of Sheffield United’s achievements since being promoted back to the Premier League have been laid bare by a new study which reveals they are out-performing two clubs worth a combined total of nearly £4,000m.
