'It should have been more' - What Man Utd boss said after breezing past Sheffield United

Ole Gunnar Solskjær says his Manchester United side "could and should have scored more goals" in the first half of their comfortable victory over Sheffield United at Old Trafford this evening.

And Solskjær said afterwards: "At times it was very, very good football.

"We could and should have scored more goals to put the game to bed before half-time.

"It's always worrying going into half-time knowing you should have scored goals but the way we controlled the game, pressed and stopped them playing... I am very happy with it.

"But there is still more to come and we shouldn't be 100 per cent happy with it."

"I thought we controlled the game," Solskjær added.

"Paul and Bruno showed some quality and it's exciting for us to be working with talent like this.

"Paul is still a bit away from his best form. That's natural because it's his first start since September. He's been working hard.

"Now it is a case of keep on working, onto the next one."
