Liverpool's Rhian Brewster odds-on to sign for Sheffield United before transfer window closes

Sheffield United’s quest for a striker has been well documented and Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster has been at the very top of their list as Chris Wilder seeks to bolster his ranks with more firepower.

The 20-year-old is just on the fringes of the Liverpool side but he needs games if he is going to develop into the player many expected him to.

Brewster spent part of last season at Swansea on loan, scoring 11 goals in 22 games and initially it was expected that another tempoarary move away from Anfield, probably to a Premier League club, would be on the cards this season.

However, Liverpool are now willing to sell – if they can broker a deal that will give them an option to bring him back to Merseyside should they wish.

The England under 21 international has been chased by a number of Premier League clubs, with United being challenged primarily by Crystal Palace and Aston Villa in the race to snap-up Brewster.

However, then bookies see his future at Bramall Lane, if he is to leave Liverpool.

In fact, there’s no point even taking a punt on it.

SkyBet make Brewster 1/20 to join Sheffield United before the transfer window closes with Crystal Palace way behind on 10/1 and Aston Villa 14/1.
