Sky Sports previously suggested that Norwich may turn to Bogle if the newly-promoted Canaries lose Aarons this summer ahead of their return to the Premier League.
United, for their part, were relaxed about the situation, having no intention to cash in on Bogle – who is also thought to be happy at the Blades after signing last summer in a bargain £5m double-deal from Derby County.

Hide AdAnd The Pink ‘Un report today that Bogle is not on City’s radar, although a shortlist of replacements for Aarons is in place with the defender reportedly being eyed by Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Manchester United.
Despite United’s disastrous season, Bogle was one of few in red and white to finish it with his reputation intact following an impressive debut campaign at Premier League level.
He scored on his debut at Brighton and Hove Albion and was often an attacking threat from wing-back, giving George Baldock valuable cover and competition going into next season as the Blades look to bounce back at the first time of asking.
An England U20 international, Bogle’s versatility could prove an important weapon for new boss Slavisa Jokanović, who plans to experiment with different systems when he starts his role as United boss despite telling United’s hierarchy that he is open to playing the 3-5-2 shape that was favoured by his predecessor at Bramall Lane, Chris Wilder.
