Reported Sheffield United and Leeds United target makes transfer admission about Celtic future

Celtic defender Jack Hendry, a reported target of Sheffield United this summer, remains tight-lipped about his future amid links with the Blades, Leeds United and West Brom.

The defender earned a place in the Scotland squad for this summer’s European Championships with his performances on loan with KV Oostende – whose manager, Alexander Blessin was a contender for the Blades job before Slavisa Jokanović was unveiled at Bramall Lane.

Media reports suggest that Leeds and the Baggies may yet enter the race for Hendry, who said: “My main focus is just on the Euros and whatever happens afterwards will happen.

“The most important thing for me next season is playing regularly at the highest level possible.
