Hunt was due to start the Carabao Cup clash against Fulham last week after impressing the win over Rochdale, however he picked up a niggle in training and was ultimately left out of the side as they went on to lose 2-0.
Garry Monk said at the time that they didn’t think the problem was anything to be too worried about, and that it was more of a case of not wanting to run the risk of exacerbating matters for Hunt given that ‘he's in such a good place’ at the moment.

It remains to be seen, however, whether the promising Wednesday academy man will be named in Saturday’s squad or not, with Monk not able to select everybody, of course.
With Osaze Urhoghide getting some good minutes under his belt for the U23s and Chey Dunkley close to doing the same, Monk and his SWFC side are now just a short while away from having a completely clean bill of health, which bodes well for the manager in what will be a tough campaign.
