There are a number of senior players who are out of contract at the end of next month such as Tom Lees, Jordan Rhodes, Keiren Westwood and Adam Reach, however there has been no confirmation as yet with regards to who is definitely on their way and whether contract talks are ongoing with other members of the squad.

Speaking in an interview with the club, Moore explained that they were in the process of speaking to each player, saying, “It’s been more or less done and agreed by all the concerned parties here at the football club, but going on from there really it’s about letting individuals know which side things are going to go for the new campaign.

“We were quite clear in terms of the retain and release list… Ultimately as a manager here there’s a style of play that I like and adhere to - and we need to work towards that.
