"Sometimes days like this go for you as a striker when you get the goals and things and other times they don't.
"It is why you keep going and keep playing football for days like today."
Asked to describe the last 18 months, Rhodes said: "Firstly, going to Norwich was a really good experience.
"The team and fans were very welcoming. I enjoyed my time there and the lads there did incredibly in winning the league.

"You try and keep your head down and work as hard as you can with the different managers.
"We have had three managers since pre-season with Steve Bruce, Lee [Bullen] and Garry Monk. You just try and work as hard as you can. Each day is a chance to impress.
"I have tried to keep my down and stay as positive as I can."

"I have really enjoyed the last week. Let's see what Bristol City brings now.
"All I can do is keep working hard and try my best day in, day out.
