There has been plenty of talk about the 19-year-old of late, with impressive performances in the Championship and FA Cup seeing the young Wednesdayite become a bit of a fan favourite over the past couple of months.

It is understood that Celtic’s offer, as things stand, is a precontract for the end of the season, and that Shaw is in absolutely no rush to make a decision on where his long-term future lies.

Shaw has played 12 games in all competitions this season, and will be hoping to add to that tally as the club seek to secure their Championship status in the coming months.
