Shaw has shot up through the Owls ranks in recent months, with Garry Monk giving him his debut, Tony Pulis handing him a couple more starts and then Neil Thompson continuing the faith as he bagged his first goal earlier this week.

Shaw, it would appear, is very keen to put pen to paper, and his recent performances will certainly not have hurt his chances.
When asked about whether he wants to stay on at Hillsborough, ‘Shawy’ said, “It’s my boyhood club, it’s a dream to play for this club, it always is every time I go out there - it’d be perfect to stay.
