That’s according to legendary Owls goalkeeper Kevin Pressman, who intimated that new boss Darren Moore should consider moulding some of his attacking plans around the goalscoring capabilities of the 31-year-old, who has been heavily linked with a move to Cardiff City.
Wednesday looked dangerous in this week’s damaging defeat to fellow strugglers Rotherham United but got on the scoreline only through an own goal by Millers defender Matt Olosunde.

“It depends which system you’re going to play,” he said. “You can have the best players in the world, you can’t forget that Rhodes was scoring goals before he came to Wednesday.
“Why was he scoring goals? Because the players he had around him complimented him and allowed him to score those goals.
“When you don’t have the correct players or the shape that brings out of the best in him, then what dose he actually bring? He’s an out-and-out goalscorer. You’ve got to put him in a position, for me, that suits him and will get the best out of him and give him the opportunity to score goals.”

Quizzed on the likelihood of Rhodes involvement at his unveiling as Wednesday manager last week, Moore said: “Jordan is a good striker. He can finish and we don't doubt that finishing ability.
“There's plenty more football left in Jordan. There's a wonderful talent if we are looking at him as an isolated figure. He's a goalscorer, and he knows where the back of the net is.
“It's about giving the players that platform where he can show his talent at that best potential.
