That’s according to Sheffield Wednesday wide man and Wycombe academy graduate Kadeem Harris, who speaking to The Star in pre-season expressed his delight at their headline-grabbing ascent to the second tier.
The Owls make the trip to Adams Park under pressure after three consecutive defeats hoping to close the gap on the side immediately above them to two points.

Hide AdBack in September, Harris expressed his gratitude to the club that made him their youngest-ever Football League player when he made his December 2009 debut against Yeovil at the age of 16 years and 201 days.
“I was buzzing for them,” Harris said. “I’ve still got a couple of friends in that team, they still play now.
“As a club, they deserve it as well. They’re a very, very good club and I’m looking forward to playing them this season, playing against a couple of mates and seeing some old faces and the club in general.”
Harris left Wycombe for Cardiff in 2012 and asked who he was in contact with, a few names came to mind including their most famous character, Adebayo Akinfenwa.

Hide Ad“I’m good mates with Anthony Stewart and Matt Bloomfield,” he said. “They were both there when I was there. Anthony and me are quite close. I know a few of the others, Akinfenwa, I know him, but the one I’m really tight with is Anthony Stewart.
“They’re a great club and they deserve the success they’ve had. I’ll always be grateful as they gave me the start I needed and gave me chances at a young age.”
