So many people have dealt with the loss of loved ones since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic last year, and the Owls are no exception with several members of the Wednesday family having passed away in recent memory.

There have also sadly been a number of supporters who have passed on in the period since games behind doors began, as well as hugely popular members of staff such as Sharon Biggin and Gary Wilkinson – who racked up over 60 years of service to the club between them.
Wednesday plan on celebrating the lives of those that have been lost on the final game of the season, and while the hope is that fans could be present to help them do so, it will go ahead regardless of if Hillsborough is empty or not.
Meanwhile, Millwall have decided that they will be wearing black armbands this weekend to commemorate their fallen supporters, a gesture that the Owls will support at The Den alongside them.
