Here’s how we rated the Owls players...
5. Liam Palmer - 6
Spent most of the first half playing the ball along the back line inside to Hector. A drab afternoon until Wednesday woke up - had a few forays forward and got in on the action even after Iorfa’s sending off. Photo: Steve Ellis
6. Barry Bannan - 7
Wednesday’s best player in the first half as he tracked back to win possession and then try and turn it into something positive. Was rewarded with a well-taken goal early in the second half and provided the cross for the Owls’ third. Photo: JP
7. Joey Pelupessy - 7
Was good on the ball in the first 45mins as he slid passes through to the Owls front line from his deep position in front of the defence. Spread play effectively from his role in the middle of the park. Photo: JP
8. Josh Onomah - 4
Pretty much anonymous in the first half as he drifted in and out of the game. Put in a few more challenges in the second half but the game was already well beyond Wednesday in a poor performance. Photo: Steve Ellis
