Brought in on a free from Cardiff City with a point to prove, the 26-year-old caught the eye in his early displays before dwindling a touch in more recent months.

“We were brilliant up until Christmas time then we had a dip in form. From then it went downhill but I've always said this is a close-knit squad and one full of confidence.
“Form is temporary, class is permanent. It's only a matter of time before our form and form for myself changes.
“We've had more than enough time to reflect. For me personally, I can't wait to get back. I've never been more ready.

“I've had time to reflect how games have gone since the New Year. We're all reflecting on ourselves and our personal performances.
“I'm sure when we get back we'll be more of the team we were in the first part of the season more than we were in the second part.”
