Experienced shot-stopper Keiren Westwood returns in between the sticks, with Cameron Dawson dropping to the bench.

Midfield duo Barry Bannan (knee) and Sam Hutchinson (groin) have shrugged off their injury problems and been passed fit to start.

The Owls, lying in 16th position in the second-tier, are are unbeaten in three away Championship visits to Hull (W2 D1) since losing three in a row between 2005 and 2007.
