Wednesday drew 1-1 with Lincoln City after being pegged back in the second half of the encounter, and were left to rue a host of missed chances in both halves that could well have sealed victory and earned them all three points.

The 21-year-old, who is now back playing regularly after a spell on the sidelines due to injury, admits that they felt they deserved more from the tie, also explaining his desire to kick on in what is going to be a busy couple of weeks at S6.

“We weren’t happy,” he told The Star. “I think we should have been three or four up in the first half especially, and in the second half we even had some very good chances - so yeah, it feels like two points lost rather than a point gained.

“It was quite frustrating to be out for that spell after getting in the team and on a little run, but there’s loads of games coming up now - so hopefully I can keep my shirt and keep performing.”

The defender also had a word for the 2,000+ Wednesdayites that made the trip, saying that they’re ‘incredible’.

He added, “They’re unbelievable, incredible. Whether it’s home or away their support is incredible. So hats off to everyone who comes, unfortunately we couldn’t get three points but we go again on Wednesday.”

The Owls now face Bristol Rovers on Wednesday night as they look to continue their unbeaten run in League One.
