Urhoghide is one of a number of Wednesday players who will see his current deal expire at the end of the season, and his recent performances – coupled with his age – have resulted in him making it onto the watchlist of several clubs both locally and abroad.
Reports elsewhere have suggested that the likes of Leeds United are interested in the 20-year-old defender, while Belgian giants, Club Brugge, are keeping a close eye on him from overseas.

Hide AdThe Star understands that while Urhoghide, who was born in the Netherlands, is also being monitored from clubs in the country of his birth, he has no intention of even entertaining conversations elsewhere at this point in time as he looks to avoid any distractions.
Any clubs outside of England are able to open up talks with the talented centre back after he entered into the last six months of his contract at Hillsborough – like Celtic did with Liam Shaw – however it is understood that the youngster is focused on the Owls and their attempts to remain in the Championship.
History would suggest that Urhoghide could have a bright future under new SWFC boss, Darren Moore, given his continued use of young players in the past, and no doubt he would be open to sticking around in S6 if the conditions were right.
Wednesday exercised a one-year option on the defender last year not long after he burst onto the scene with some impressive performances, and while there was talk then of a longer-term deal things seemed to go quiet following an injury.

Moore and his side have some big games to prepare for as they look to make a fist of staying in the Championship despite a torrid run of recent form, and Urhoghide could well play a big role in their push for survival.
Against Norwich City on Sunday they face the tough task of keeping quite the likes of Teemu Pukki and Emiliano Buendia, a challenge that Urhoghide will be hoping to play his part in.
