"I can't really complain too much with how things have started with Sheffield," Ellis said.
"We had the drama where I couldn't get here for the meeting at Belle Vue but the meetings I have ridden in have gone good more than they have bad.
"I didn't get any time on the track before that first meeting at Sheffield so it was tricky.

"Obviously there's some stuff for me to improve on but I've done a lot of racing since then and it's getting better - I'm feeling a lot better on the bike now.”
The Tru Plant Tigers have named a full-strength side although there are still concerns over Josh Bates and his shoulder so he is likely to need a late fitness test.
Ipswich have booked Wolverhampton’s Nick Morris as a guest replacement for the injured Jason Crump and they also include former Tigers duo Danny King and Drew Kemp.
