Doncaster RLFC: '˜I definitely think we'll make the top five' - Kieran Cross
“I definitely think we’ll make the top five,” said the former Doncaster Toll Bar amateur who finished joint top try-scorer last season.
“We’ve brought in Matty Beharrell and we’ve got a couple of players back after injury so that has helped boost the squad after both Brandan Wilkinson and myself picked up knee injuries in the defeat at Workington last month.”

Hide AdCross, who also missed a number of key games earlier in the season, is unlikely to play again this season.
“The doctor said I’d be out for three months and if that’s the case then I’m definitely out for the season but hopefully I’ll be back a bit quicker,” he said.
“We’ll have to wait and see.”
Cross travelled to Bootham Crescent at the weekend with the team for the game against second-placed York City Knights.
“I thought the 31-16 score-line flattered them a little bit because we were there or thereabouts until they scored two tries in the last three minutes.” he said.

“We’ve got West Wales on Sunday at Featherstone’s ground and we’ve got to go out and make a statement ahead of what will be much tougher games the following two weeks against Hunslet and Oldham.
“I know we’ve already lost against both clubs but I definitely think that Hunslet are beatable, as are Oldham at the Keepmoat because I don’t think we did ourselves justice at their place.”
