A full strength Scimitars' team faced an improved Swindon squad for their first League home game last night, and although they did not dominate the game in the way they had the previous night, they worked hard for the win.

Sheffield increased their lead with a great close-range goal by man of the match Brittle from an accurate pass by Slamiar at 15.50.

Swindon goalie Brabon made some good saves but was unable to save Slamiar's shot off a neat pass by Moburg at 35.40 giving Sheffield a 3-0 score-line going into the 2nd period break. Swindon got a consolation at 48.06.

An excellent win in Telford had set the tone for the weekend.
