Waugh posts early lead
GOLFA FIVE-under-par round of 65 by Phil Waugh from Hexham led the first round of the Lee Westwood Trophy at Rother-ham GC with Jack Walker, on his home course, one of three players a stroke off the lead.
Renishaw Park's Karl Shepherd was in joint second.
