999 response times success
IN a recent story about ambulance response times, we stated that the government's national target was for 78 per cent of emergency calls to be reached in eight minutes or under.
We have been asked to point out that the government target is in fact 75 per cent and that the South Yorkshire Ambulance Service is ahead of that target, with 75.4 per cent of emergency calls reached within eight minutes.
